We started The Curated Travel Collection because something was missing.

By the time I started CTC seventeen years ago, I’d already spent a decade in this industry, watching how it worked and how it didn’t.

Advisors were being handed access without alignment. Sign-up sheets instead of support. Volume instead of values.

Nobody was asking the real question.

What does it actually take to build this? And who is it actually for?

For me, this started as an Air Force wife, building a life that could flex around deployments and duty stations.

I didn’t want a career that competed with that life. I wanted one that fit inside it.

For someone else, it starts with the cost of childcare.

For someone else, it’s becoming an empty nester and asking, now what.

For someone else, it’s a career they loved that they had to walk away from, and never quite got to walk back into.

Somewhere in there, a lot of us stopped having something that was ours.

Not the family’s. Not the household’s. Not something we fit in after everything else was done.

Ours.

That is where this industry starts mattering for real.

Not as extra income. As identity. As confidence. As ownership.

We’ve watched people leave jobs that made them small and build something that makes them whole again.
